Java first appeared in May 23, 1995 (22 years ago), designed by James Gosling; Working with Java is easy. Tools such as Eclipse make coding and debugging a simple and straightforward process, while auto-complete and auto-import are big time-savers. (Great if you prefer the creative side of programming.) Hot swapping is possible without restarting the program. And it works on Windows, Linux and Mac equally well. Other rival languages can’t boast anything quite as good just yet.
